Educational Psychologist in South Wales
I am an Educational Psychologist who offers independent assessments as well as working for a Local Education Authority (LEA) in South Wales.
I live in Cardiff and work across South Wales (Cardiff, Blaenau Gwent, Bridgend, Caerphilly, Neath Port Talbot, Monmouthshire, Newport, Powys, Swansea, Torfaen, Vale of Glamorgan), West Wales and other areas of the UK.
I undertake work for individuals, families, schools (state and private), academies, colleges and universities, offering a range of services including:

I meet the requirements of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and am registered with the Information Commissioner.
I have received the report today and both my parents and I are very happy with the result. I cannot thank you enough for your help and detailed report. Hopefully, on returning to university with some of your suggested strategies put into place, I will be able to succeed without doubting my intellectual ability throughout my study.
I am writing to let you know that I passed the FRCS (General Surgery) Section 1 exam in June! The exam board gave an additional 25% extra time as you advised and also invalidated my previous 2 attempts. I was still a bit pushed for time but this time only missed out 2 questions in one of the papers… thanks again for your help with the assessment and report
I thought I would update you on my daughter’s GCSE results. She found out yesterday that she achieved A*AAAAAABBBBC. She is thrilled. Something definitely changed since your report came through and she believed that with the right preparation she could do well, and she wasn’t simply ‘stupid’ (her words!). I contacted Jo for help and advice around my son’s difficulties in school with learning maths. Jo was easy to contact and talk to. I was anxious about my son undergoing the assessment process. I have had to go through this process myself and found it very difficult and traumatic. Jo made it easy for my son who is easily frustrated and upset. My son was a happy boy at the end of the assessment. We received thorough and timely feedback after the assessment. Jo took interest in the whole person and not just his educational needs. Jo assessed two of my children separately. She was understanding, professional and advised me correctly. The children felt relaxed and took well to Jo quickly. She explained every part of the assessment to the children in detail, giving them plenty of breaks during and happily chatted to them. I found her report to be very specific, provided evidence and information, and advised on how to best support my children.
